A trip through the gardens~

Ever since I started the whole photography hobby thing, I’ve been a fan of flower photography. I’m sure others do it better then me but it’s just an awesome niche, especially since there are so many pretty flowers in the world!

We went to a place here called Longwood Gardens. I don’t know much about the history of place, and I honestly don’t care but it’s awesome for it’s flowers, garden architecture, and setups. They even have these light shows at night, but I haven’t been able to make it to one of those. Probably never will. It’s not cheap.

But last time we were there, I took a crap ton of photos, most of which are sitting in my Facebook account but here some that I was most happy with and thought I’d share with you.

 

I have to say, going there and getting the shots that I did, it’s my best flower work yet, both shot-wise and editing-wise. I’m so happy with how they turned out. I’m hoping to go back again sometime soon so I can move through it at my own pace. My brother-in-law took us the last time and we kinda zoomed through it all. Needless to say I was annoyed. Plus they have some new “exhibits” up & running that I want to check out. Double the fun with my new Lensbaby fish eye lens. :)
