Little Fashionista – My Secret Desire

I have been looking at a lot of fashion blogs and pin board’s lately to get a general idea of what I’d like my new arrival to dress like. They (BJD owners) say that the doll(s) tell you what their personalities are and how they “want” to dress. It’s kinda true. Okay, it’s totally true. Their style(s) basically stem from your imagination and/or your inner self.

I’ll openly admit Kloey’s fashion sense comes from my secret desire to clothe myself in the cutest, coolest, punky-ist stuff evar!! I shop at HOT TOPIC but I do not have the balls to wear half the stuff they sell (I mostly just buy t-shirts). So she does it for me I guess. ^^v

This is just one of her many fashions. The latest one actually. I was ready to sell her sweatshirt (the one she’s wearing) but decided one day to pull it out and try it on her. It fits pretty well, I was totally surprised given her… generous endowment, to put it mildly (she used to be flat chested until we upgraded her body). She’s adorable, don’t you think?

If you have one, what is your secret fashion desire? Would you act on it, play it out w/something else, or keep it to yourself?

I would love to be able to dress biker-chic all the time… Leather, studs, torn denim. Ok maybe a cross between that and punky, because I’d love to be able to do streaks of brightly colored hair too. Definitely not stuff that’s office appropriate LOL

I would say if I were back in junior high (and of this generation) I would want to look cool like that. Of course, for me we’re talking about the 70s. When it was horrible vinyl go-go boots in style. But they were cool and that’s all that mattered:)

I love wearing dresses and heels but can’t walk in them. i am used to be in nurse scrubs. If I could get away with a cutesey look I would do.

I would wear the newer style of dresses and shirts. I love the doll tho, it is very well dressed.

It took me until my mid-twenties to find my style and feel comfortable wearing whatever the hell I wanted to hehe. Since having the baby I really miss being able to dress up girlie every day… considering I get dribbled on most days there doesn’t seem much point to put my bests on every day hehe.

Cute clothes for the doll, by the way. If I was a teenager I’d totally want to wear what she’s wearing

I really like the look of your new blog! It is well needed to start fresh sometimes.
That doll looks very fancy, where do you get those?? Nice clothing as well, I like the sporty kind of style. In the past I wanted some sort of doll to let my sewing creativity flow, but I never found one that I liked.

  I got her from Iplehouse. I brought her home three years ago and she’s been my buddy ever since She’s really helped with my photography development. And they are definitely fun to sew for! Lots of people do it for their’s & commission themselves out for others.
